Skyline’s talented Production Specialist Brent Packwood is putting down his tools for two good causes by participating in the Enerflex MS Brissie to the Bay Ride in June as well as the Ride to Conquer Cancer in August. Your encouragement and support would be greatly appreciated. See below for more information from Brent:
Donate to Fight MS
“The 2015 Enerflex MS Brissie to the Bay 100km bike ride will help the fight against multiple sclerosis. I am raising funds to show my support and your donation will make an impact to change the lives of people living with MS.
I’m riding for Timothy Dorcen Langbene “Tim” Ferguson an Australian comedian, television presenter and just a bloody nice fella. Please DONATE to support my ride and make your impact on the lives of Australians living with MS.”
Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer™
“Last year my wife battled cancer and won but in the same year I lost two friends, Inta and Michelle to cancer. THIS IS A PERSONAL RIDE.
In 2014 I raised$4,510 towards my ride and completed the 225KM route. This year for the 2015 RIDE in August, I would like to raise more than $15,000 – So PLEASE help me to reach this goal by donating for further research and eventually a cure.
The Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer™ benefiting the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, is a cycling journey throughout Queensland scenic countryside that I’m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!”
Funds raised will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, a worldwide leader in cancer research and discovery and one of the largest research institutes in the southern hemisphere.
The ride involves cycling for two days throughout the picturesque countryside of Queensland from the 15-16 August 2015. Don’t wait till August 2015 to get involved and support Brent in his ride.
Thank you in advance for your help and support. Please feel free to share this information to help spread the word and increase the impact!
