Eye Power Coming Back to Adelaide
After two years Eye Power is coming back to Adelaide. Skyline Displays and Image Brand & Colour will be presenting the Adelaide event on Wednesday, 1st April 2009 at Next Generation Memorial Drive. New Staff
Robert Bousamra has recently joined the Skyline team in the position of Exhibit (CAD) Designer. Robert worked for Skyline in 2001 for a short period of time and has worked in both graphic and CAD design roles since. For the past year and a half, he has been the Head Designer for QX, the largest show contractor in Queensland. Before that, he designed playscapes for Kompan for three years. Kompan is the world´s largest manufacturer of playground equipment.
We are also pleased to announce that John Keating has joined Skyline in the position of Project Manager. John has been in custom exhibit sales for five years, having previously worked for Moreton Hire in Sydney, QX in Brisbane and, most recently, George P Johnson & Co on the Gold Coast.

Project of the Month
Paynter Dixon Exhibit
Paynter Dixon approached Skyline to design an exhibit with a clean, open and modern look.
The exhibit design needed to incorporate:
- High level branding
- Storage room for brochures and personal effects
- Provision for 2 x 42" LCD's
- And the flexibility to reconfigure the stand for their future 3m x 3m requirements
The combination of Inliten, Tube and Mosaic cabinetry achieved a contemporary look and an open stand allowing for staff interaction with attendees.

Exhibition Tips and Tricks
Three Ways to Cut Your Exhibit Costs
There are as many ways to cut your exhibit costs as there are to skin an exhibit. Here are three ways Skyline can help you.
- Go Modular. Compared to traditional custom exhibits, the cost for shipping and installing/dismantling modular exhibits is considerably less. Modular exhibits are typically lighter, pack smaller and set up faster. All these features add up to hefty savings.
- Consider Renting. If you are attending one or two shows per year, renting could be an economical route to take. If you´re out to make a statement you can rent a more spectacular exhibit for much less than you can buy. Renting can also be a cost-effective means to change your exhibit every year.
- Go Portable. In a three metre booth space, a portable exhibit is often the best choice. These exhibits are usually inexpensive to buy and ship. They can also be set up by your own staff, thus eliminating the need for installation and dismantling service charges.
